AC/DC's Historic Arrival in America
AC/DC made their U.S. debut just days after the release of their album Let There Be Rock, marking the beginning of their first North American tour in 1977. Initially unknown to American audiences, the band had been promoted by Atlantic Records, which recognized their potential after viewing a kinescope of their live performance. Upon landing in the U.S. on July 27, 1977, AC/DC embarked on a rigorous tour, starting with shows in Texas where they quickly gained popularity. Their energetic performances resonated with audiences, leading to larger venues and increased pay. The band continued to tour extensively across the country, solidifying their presence in the American rock scene. This period marked a significant turning point for AC/DC, as they transitioned from obscurity to becoming one of rock's most iconic bands.

The Most Electrifying Rock n Rock Band
They have always been the best Rock n Roll Band to me. No bs ballads, just in your face rock. Blue collar band that don't give a damn what critics say. Their music and concert sales is all you need to know. I hate that Malcolm has dementia and Brian has hearing issues but Angus recruited Axl to finish out the tour and it was a fantastic choice. Axl handled the songs well, especially the Bon songs. Great Set list with 13 of 24 Bon Scott songs. I was blown away just like I was the first time I seen them in 1983.
